The Leadership HQ family consist of healthcare professionals with 25 plus years of experience in their individual specialty. With extensive knowledge in medicine, pharmacy, behavior management, nursing and administration, these strong strategic thinkers and problem solvers are well diverse in the federal, state, and local regulatory guidelines for non-profit, private and government sectors.

Executive Director

Dr. LaTonya D. Hughes is an innovative health care leader with experience inspecting health care organizations across the United States. She holds a PhD in Health Services Leadership and a Master of Science degree in Nursing Administration.

A registered nurse for over 31 years, Hughes has held positions as Accreditation Surveyor, Administrator, Director of Nursing, Staff Development and Quality Management Instructor, Risk Manager, and Chief Nurse.

A Licensed Nursing Home Administrator for 22 years, Hughes has also served as an adjunct faculty instructor for several nursing schools to include historical universities. Hughes is known for research in person-centered care and wound care (archived within the Library of Congress in Washington, DC).
